Junior Achievement and Prudential Join Forces To Bring Job Shadow To Hartford High School Students

Hartford, CT—On Tuesday, October 18th, Junior Achievement of Southwest New England and Prudential Financial/Retirement will host three Hartford high schools from 9A.M. to 1:30 P.M. exploring different careers and departments at Prudential. The job shadow will take place at Prudential’s site in Downtown Hartford, where the students will have the opportunity to hear from a panel of employees about their career paths. Students will learn budgeting and financial planning, personal branding and product development. The student participants are from Global Communications Academy, Culinary Arts Academy at Weaver, and Buckley High School. The purpose of the job shadow is to expose Hartford students to different career opportunities and learn the importance of workforce readiness
