This year’s Bowl-A-Thon with The Hartford was more than just fun—it was a record-breaking fundraising event for a brighter future! With a goal of $100,000, The Hartford’s employees and partners bowled their hearts out and raised an incredible $123,000, including a generous match from The Hartford. That’s a whole lot of strikes for students across Connecticut!

Why We Bowl:

The day began on a high note thanks to Karmela Malone, SVP Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at The Hartford and a dedicated JA Board Member, who delivered an inspiring kickoff speech that set the tone for the event. Her words served as a powerful reminder of the day’s overall purpose: while colleagues had gathered to enjoy time together, their efforts were ultimately in support of the future of thousands of students across Connecticut.

12 Years of Impact with The Hartford:

The 2025 event marked over a decade of collaboration, and the numbers speak for themselves:

  • Over $736,000 raised since 2013
  • Thousands of students supported
  • Lifelong skills gained across Connecticut
