Junior Achievement of Southwest New England hosts 14th Annual Hartford Partners in Achievement Breakfast

Junior Achievement of Southwest New England hosted its 14th annual Partners in Achievement Breakfast at the Hartford Marriott Downtown and was held from 7:15 A.M to 9:00 A.M.  During the first part of the breakfast, guests are welcome to network with other business and community leaders. Next, guests got to hear firsthand from students, educators and volunteers from local schools who have all experienced JA programs in the Hartford region.

This year, JA had student speakers from John F. Kennedy School in Windsor, Wells Road Intermediate School in East Granby and Tourtellotte School in Thompson. JA also welcomed Scott Gaudet, Principal from Greene-Hills School in Bristol, who spoke on Junior Achievement’s relationship with his school.

This event is also considered a celebration and has quickly become one of Hartford region’s premier networking events with 500 guests attending in 2016.  2017 Partners in Achievement breakfast sponsors included Aetna, OFI, Comcast and Hartford Steam Boiler.

If you want more information on how you can make a difference in students’ lives, please contact Jeremy Race, President and CEO at jrace@jaconn.org or 860-525-4510 ex.224. Any support you provide to Junior Achievement will help us get closer to our goal of reaching 50,000 students by 2020.
