JLH Teams Up With JA

JA is now working with the Junior League of Hartford (JLH) on a new project that focuses on empowering young women to learn about careers, develop professional goals, and become more financially responsible.

The project, JA Career Connections For Young Women, will target female high school students and will include a conference, an 11-week after-school academy, and job shadowing at local companies.

"We are thrilled to partner with Junior League of Hartford and excited that together we will help shape the lives of so many young women in this region," says Louis J. Golden, president of Junior Achievement of Southwest New England.

The collaboration between the Junior League of Hartford and the JA will result in more opportunities for both organizations to increase their impact in the Greater Hartford community.  For more information about the Junior League, visit www.jlhartford.org.
